Learning to read? The My First Reading Library is an investment, but well worth it! I used this set to teach both of our daughters to read, and it was so helpful! Phonics readers, leveled readers, and the School of Monsters series are great supplemental options as they start reading independently.

For the elementary-aged kiddos, the Billie B. Brown and Hey Jack series are great places to start. Nibbles: The Book Monster, Dan the Taxi Man, A Tale of Two Beasts, Can I Join Your Club, and The Prince and the Witch and the Thief and the Bears are some of our favorite story books. If you’re looking for early reader chapter books, the Sticker Dolly series, Izzy the Inventor, Freddie’s Amazing Bakery, and Einstein the Penguin are all great options.

Have older kids? No problem! We loved the Kensy and Max series, as well as the Joy series. My oldest loves Ella at Eden and even did a presentation on it for school! The Night Animals and The Hunt for the Nightingale are new and both share great messages for animal lovers!
